Sarah Shaiq brings to the team more than 10 years of product management experience, with a track record of building B2C and B2B products at scale. Sarah is a true people leader and experienced in working with other executives and teams to ensure alignment between business goals and Product Development.
When she’s not working, Sarah can be found traveling, instagramming graffiti around the city, or downing thousands of calories at shake shack and then pointlessly trying to burn them off at SoulCycle and power yoga classes.
Karen has three decades of leadership experience in data organizations at Fortune 500s that included extensive work in Industrial Products and Automotive. This includes Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC) and Johnson Industries.
Robert is an experienced operational executive with 12+ years of experience of working across enterprises and start-ups alike. Most recently he scaled Kustomer acquired by Facebook-$1B) from Seed Series through Series D, raising $113.5M.
A 25-year veteran in the industrial distribution supply-chain industry, Jerry joins BackboneAI as the Senior Director of Hazmat & Compliance Operations. As a master data management (MDM) strategist and advocate, he champions better ways to automate data-collection methods in supply chains’ regulatory and compliance areas. Jerry has developed enterprise data-governance solutions, while increasing data transparency in industrial distribution supply chains. His teams have managed large enterprise product catalogs and databases, comprising incredibly progressive product spheres that power sales, profit, and every facet of the industrial-supply business.
An industry pioneer with over 20 years of experience in technology, business, and marketing, Gus has created award-winning solutions for many world-renowned companies. Prior to joining BackboneAI and founding Xogito, he was CTO of E-Commerce Solutions, where he created various search engines for companies such as Excite, iVillage, The New York Times, Deja.com (Google), About.com, and Palm. Before that, Gus worked at Partsearch Technologies, where he oversaw the creation of the world’s first consumer-focused comprehensive parts platform – an achievement that increased the company’s revenue to in excess of $20 million in one year.
Satish has been implementing enterprise level SaaS platform over 15 years. During these years, he’s built several data ingestions solutions for different industries. He’s consistently delivered top-notch solution with great performance and improvements. As a leader, he’s continuously focused to listen, manage, prioritize, connect and grow; and continuously work on improvements. As a VP of Engineering, he’s excited to work with our team to build a solution for our customers.
When he’s not working, he loves to travel, try different cuisines and watch college football.
Eugen oversees all data transformation operations and is also building data automation. He has almost two decades of experience managing data teams, including time as a team lead at Genpact for intelligent automation enterprise projects.
Maxx has driven a big acceleration in Backbone customer growth since joining in 2020. He was previous a sales leader at VoiceOps and Meltwater (Oslo: MWTR)
Andrei leads all research and development around artificial intelligence, with a focus on the use of deep learning and neural nets to accelerate the automation of data transformation. He has a decade of experience driving AI projects.
Gaspar provides a crucial bridge between Product and Engineering, translating feature requests into actionable development plans. He has a decade of experience building technical and logistics systems for eCommerce and multinational companies.

A serial entrepreneur, Rob has scaled five companies that were subsequently acquired, and has worked with founders of nearly 20 other companies that have collectively raised more than $500 million.
Eva is a general partner at Fika Ventures, an early-stage technology fund investing in companies that leverage the power of data as a core component of their business model. Prior to being an investor, she was a serial entrepreneur and founder of companies including Factual, Applied Semantics (sold to Google in 2003), and Navigating Cancer.
Jeff, a serial entrepreneur and Partner at Boldstart Ventures, has close to 3 decades of experience building and investing in successful enterprise SAAS companie. Most recently, he co-founded WorkRails, a platform for technology companies to sell professional services. Previously, he was founder and CEO of WorkMarket (sold to ADP), OnForce (sold to Adecco), LANSafe Network Services, Remote Lojix (sold to AvTel Communications), and Spinback (sold to Buddy Media/Salesforce.com).

Brian Laung Aoaeh is the co-founder and general partner of REFASHIOND Ventures and the co-founder of The Worldwide Supply Chain Federation, a grassroots network of supply chain, innovation, and technology enthusiasts. teaches as an adjunct professor of supply chain and operations management in the Department of Technology Management and Innovation at NYU
Dan Borok is a co-Founder and Managing Partner at Newark Venture Partners. He has been in the venture space since 2005, most recently as a Partner at Millennium Technology Value Partners. Dan focuses on B2B software, including themes around healthcare, supply chain and enterprise automation
Marius Istrate is the ex-Chief People Officer for UiPath, where he grew the company from 120 to 3,000 people in the span of three years.
Marius is advising our team on how to scale a global automation team and our partnership network. He also has an incredible network of talent.
Ellen is the former CIO of Motion Industries, a division of a Fortune 500 Industrial Products leader. She brings more than 35 years of experience enabling companies to achieve technology, operational and digital excellence in the manufacturing, distribution and engineering sectors. She is advising us on how to build our automation platform in a way that is compelling for our enterprise customers.
George was the former CEO of Kespry and President of Alteryx. George worked with Alteryx from Series A to pre-IPO. George has been involved with BackboneAI since the concept stage and has provided valuable advice on product roadmap, strategy and data operations.
